This page is for experimenting with internal anchors, sometimes called bookmarks which allow a URL to specify a target location within the body of a document.
The target location is coded thusly: <a name="target"> and then there can be text or an object before the ending anchor tag </a>

Target Anchors here
Nazareth Primitive Baptist Church at Samantha. Members of the Norris
family joined this church and some even served as elders, deacons,
and pastors. Services are still conducted in this building on the first Sunday in each month.
Tombstone of Emaline Pryor Simpson, wife of William Siras Norris. She was born 17 January 1826, married 18 Nov 1841, and died 27 April 1915.
Tombstone of William Siras Norris, born 4 Feb 1820, died 26 Jul 1896. He was the eighth child of John Norris and Elizabeth Harrell, and the first of their children to be born in Alabama. He married Emaline Pryor Simpson and fathered 11 children.
Tombstone of Mary Jane Norris, daughter of John Norris and Elizabeth Harrell. She
was born 20 Mar 1811 and died 8 Aug 1897. She married Isaac Hewett on
6 Dec 1830.
Isaac Hewett, who married Mary Jane Norris. He was born 12 Nov 1805 and died 26 Sep 1888.
Mary Ann E. Norris, daughter of Thomas Jackson Norris and Harriet J.
Willingham, granddaughter of John Norris and Elizabeth Harrell. She was
born 16 Jun 1839 and died 16 Jun 1920.
M. N. Deal, husband of Mary Ann E. Norris. He was born 25 Apr 1839 and
died one month short of his 96th birthday on 26 Mar 1935.
